Psa. 114:1 When Israel went forth from Egypt, / The house of Jacob from among a people of unintelligible speech,
Psa. 114:2 Judah became His sanctuary, / Israel, His dominion.
Psa. 114:3 The sea saw and fled; / The Jordan turned back.
Psa. 114:4 The mountains skipped like rams, / The hills, like lambs.
Psa. 114:5 What troubles you, O sea, that you flee? / O Jordan, that you turn back?
Psa. 114:6 O mountains, [that] you skip like rams? / O hills, like lambs?
Psa. 114:7 Tremble at the presence of the Lord, O earth, / At the presence of the God of Jacob,
Psa. 114:8 Who turns the rock into a pool of water, / The flint into a fountain of water.
